Questions and Answers- 1240LP23Q0082 Shoshone Picnic Tables and Fire Rings upon delivery, are we responsible for unloading picnic tables and fire rings?
– Yes. We are requesting lift gate service for all delivery areas (Lander, Dubois, Cody)
Second, most likely, picnic tables and fire rings will be delivered unassembled; are we responsible for assembly and installation?
– No, just deliver and unloading.
Third, upon shipment arrival, would there be someone to inspect the load on the site? It is important to have a point of contact for the inspector to communicate about any damaged goods before the shipper leaves the site.
– Yes, we identified Justin Smith and Ashley Duke as those folks. If they won’t be present, a proxy will.
Finally, after the load is delivered, passes inspection, and is accepted, when do we receive the payment?
– Payment would be after your invoice was received and processed through the Invoice Processing Platform (https://www.ipp.gov/). All invoicing and payments are required to be processed though IPP. IPP is managed by the Treasury Dept. so payments are completed by their schedule.
Will all locations be able to receive or is accessible for a 53' semi-truck with enough clearances to turn around and exit without any obstacles or incidents?
– Lander probably not. For Lander, it would depend on the time of year delivery would occur due to the amount of vehicles/trailers parked everywhere at the warehouse. Fall/Winter would be better, but still a tight fit. The driver would have to be good.
– Dubois is not a problem any time of year.
– Cody, yes, potentially with notice.
Will there be personnel on site to unload the delivery coming from the lift gate being used?
– Dubois & Lander - Yes, but enough heads up would have to be given in order to have that personnel available and a skid steer on site to move things around.
– Cody – Depends. Again, a timely notice of deliver is essential for they will need to know the day, if they will be on time, will they notify if they will be late, or plan to reschedule?
