About this file
The file is a detailed Specifications document for a custom-fabricated 1,100-gallon tank system for the Department of Agriculture Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region's Umpqua National Forest. The tank is designed for a 2025 Ford F650 vehicle and features two separate compartments: a 900-gallon wastewater tank and a 200-gallon freshwater tank, constructed from 5454-H32 buffed aluminum alloy with specific technical requirements including temperature tolerance from -20 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit and a maximum pressure rating of 14.9 psig.
The specifications outline comprehensive technical details for the tank's construction, including vacuum system components (pump rated up to 230 CFM), wash-down system, lighting configuration, mounting specifications, and required certifications. The procurement is a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 332420 with a size standard of 750 employees. The tank requires full fabrication, assembly, and installation, with the contractor responsible for final-stage manufacturing, completing FMVSS documentation, and affixing certification stickers. Delivery is to the Umpqua National Forest Automotive Shop in Roseburg, Oregon, with a project timeline of approximately six weeks from response deadline to delivery date.
