About this file
This solicitation requests proposals for a lidar and imagery data collection service contract. The United States Forest Service requires lidar point cloud and RGB orthoimagery data to be collected over two areas within the Monroe Mountain unit of the Fishlake National Forest: the entire 75,205 hectare Monroe Mountain unit in summer 2023, and a planned prescribed burn area of approximately 2,500 to 3,500 hectares within Monroe Mountain following burns scheduled for fall 2023. Proposals are due by August 2, 2023. The selected contractor must use the same airborne lidar and camera sensors as previous collections in 2020 and 2021 to ensure dataset compatibility, and deliver classified lidar point clouds, 1-meter resolution surface models, and orthorectified imagery within 60 days of each collection. The contract will be a firm fixed price award made to the single responsible offeror submitting the lowest priced, technically acceptable proposal.
