The work will be considered completed when all designated materials have been loaded, hauled, and placed as required, roughness from the operation has been smoothed and compacted, damages to haul routes have been repaired, and materials have not been placed to prevent existing drainage systems (ditches and culverts) from functioning properly. The quantity accumulated after the first pass will determine how much may be removed on the second pass, to reach the specified quantity. If the specified quantity has not been reached after both passes on a particular road segment, the “balance” may be applied to a subsequent road segment. Disposal areas for item 832(01)A (End Haul) are shown on Project Maps. Other disposal areas may be available, and are subject to approval on site.
