1. Page 2 of the SOW states “The contractor shall include all services and field labor, equipment necessary to remove and install new chiller.” Will the government confirm if there is a chiller involved in this project?
That was a mistake, there is no chiller involved in this project.
2. Will the government provide a drawing for the rebar reinforcement layout required for the slab?
The rebar needs to be on 12” centers.
3. Is it the government’s intention to have the contractor pour the new slab on top of the existing slab?
Yes, the new slab will be poured on top and attached(pinned) to the existing slab.
4. Is it the government’s intention to have the contractor demo and dispose of slab in old location?
Yes.
5. Is the contractor supposed to match the existing overhead supports and elevations that are now supporting the electrical conduit and gas pipe on the same support?
No. The electrical and gas service will be rerouted through the attic and ran inside the fence with the other utilities.
6. Page 42 of the Solicitation indicates that Corporate Experience must be within 5 years to be considered recent. Will the government revise this requirement to allow Corporate Experience to be within 7 years instead of 5 years to be considered recent? Past performance can be submitted but may not all be considered relevant to solicitation.

8. Will the government provide a drawing of the fence to be removed and the new fence location?
9. If we use a crane to relocate the generator will fence removal be necessary?
No.
10. Can you provide additional information for what is being requested/ required for the removal and install of a new chiller listed on the SOW attachment on page 2. The contractor shall include all services and field labor, equipment necessary to remove and install new chiller.
11. Can you confirm if a Bid Bond is required? A bid bond is not required.
12. Can you provide any pictures of the existing generator being relocated?
13. Can you confirm if an SSHO (site safety and health officer) is required for this project? No.
14. Can you clarify if permits are required to be filed for this project? We are not aware of any permits required for this job.
