About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the construction of 17 sets of stainless-steel hanging poultry cages and racks for the USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) facility in Athens, GA.
The SOW provides detailed specifications for the cages and racks, including dimensions, materials, and required features. It outlines the contractor requirements, including the need to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and to submit material submittals and shop drawings. The period of performance is 180 days from the notice to proceed, and the contractor must provide a 10-year guarantee on the work. The related federal contract opportunity, Solicitation Number 12405B24Q0374, seeks quotations from responsible offerors to provide the required poultry cages and racks. The solicitation states that the award will be made on a best value basis, with technical capability and past performance being more important than price.
