Marel D166 Plucker Machine (Solicitation ID: 12405B24Q0196) Questions and Answers

•What is the supply voltage? 208 V and 460 V.
•How are the motors being controlled (starters, VFDs, soft starts, etc.)? Starters.
•Do you need lights to show when motors are running, off, or faulted? Lights when running.
•Do you need push buttons to turn them on or off? Yes.
•Is a mushroom/estop needed? Yes.
•If using VFD, do you want a speed potentiometer to dial up or dial down the speed? No.
•What environment will the panel be installed in? What kind of NEMA rating would you like? NEMA = 4, Hot/Cool high Humidity. Protection against dripping and light splashing of hose directed water during clean and corrosion resistant.
•What is the ambient temperature? This is necessary to determine if temperature control is required for the panel (e.g., fans, air conditioning unit, etc.). 45 to 95F.
The provider of the starter control panel box must be present on the day of installation to advise the electrician on connecting the electrical power to the control panel and from the control panel to the 12 motors on the picker and to that all components are functions.
