About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for RFQ 123A9426Q0022 issued by the USDA for laboratory calibration services in the Atlanta area. The RFQ seeks ISO 17025 accredited calibration services for five Talboys Heavy Duty Vortex 120V ADV units (serial numbers SHK_E09271, SHK_E09352, SHK_E09353, SHK_E09355, and SHK_E09431) to the ISO 17025 level. The manufacturer model number for all equipment is 9456TAHDUSA. The anticipated period of performance runs from September 3, 2026 through September 2, 2027. Previous calibration services were performed by ACS Calibrations under purchase order 123A9425P0014, with the most recent calibrations completed on December 8, 2025.

Vendors responding to this RFQ must quote the anticipated number of visits necessary to complete the calibration work, as the document indicates these items may not be available for calibration during a single visit. All quotations must be submitted directly to contract specialist Eric Schnitzler at eric.schnitzler@usda.gov, with supporting RFQ documents available for download on sam.gov. The RFQ indicates that vendor capability to perform onsite calibrations for mixers and centrifuges is dependent on the specific test points required and equipment accuracies.
