A1.) Please see attached. Five new maps have been added as part of this amendment: CAM, CAM Aquatic, CAM birds, CAM fisher and CAM units with being one page each.
Q2.) How did you calculate your piling cost?
A2.) Piling costs were estimated by the Government during the appraisal and cost estimation process.
Q3.) There does not seem to be enough time to complete all of the work required given the amount of
LOP, PALs, and elevation. Is there a way to have more contract time?
A3.) Please refer to the revised solicitation that has been attached; pages 4 of 74, 10 of 74, 11 of 74 and 60 of
74 have the revised end date of 10/01/2024.
Q4.) How much more time will be could be added to the contract term?
A4.) Please see question Q3. The period of performance has been changed.

A5.) Clarifying language was added to C2.353# to include windthrown timber.
Q6.) Are you sure the lop and scat and buck P is the best fuels treatment for unit 5 to achieve the results you are looking for?
A6.) This is what the Aquatic Specialist recommended, but will talk to her to see if other fuels treatment would be acceptable.
Q7.) What do you think about hand pile in the toad LOP area?
A7.) C6.7#, “Visible Slash Treatment” is the specified treatment in the Yosemite Toad LOP. The COR will have the ability to make an agreement to one of the listed treatment.
Q8.) When can we operate in the toad LOP area?
A8.) The LOP is from October 1st to August 30th . Both the start and end dates can be reduced, this is based on rain fall and temperatures. The Aquatic’s Biologist will be the one to make that decision.
Q9.) Are we going to be asked to fall the hazards on the haul route?
A9.) No. Hoping the Upper Chiquito bridge will be finished. They have started placing the bridge road segments. We stopped by the bridge replacement project and spoke to the project lead and they said “the bridge will be completed in two weeks”.
Q10.) If the bridge is replaced can we use it, and if so do we have to do the road reconstruction?
A10.) Yes, you will have to go through the proper procedure. Yes, if you use an alternative haul route you still have to do the road reconstruction.
