About this file
This document provides responses to questions regarding a Request for Information (RFI) from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for a USDA Medical Unit. The contractor will be required to provide basic, extended, and additional medical care, as well as minor medical assistance in emergency situations, to USDA employees and others at three USDA facilities - the Whitten and South Buildings in Washington, D.C. and the George Washington Carver Center in Beltsville, Maryland. The responses clarify the square footage and layouts of medical spaces at each location, staffing levels in the past, expectations for pediatric care, and plans for virtual access for dependents. No incumbent provider is mentioned, and responses suggest the USDA intends to establish a new contract for comprehensive medical services across all three locations.
