1. Please specify Water & Power Source locations.

R: Water and Power are located within the Garden Area.

2. Are there Material Specifications for the current setting bed?

R: Refer to Project Specifications and Drawings.

3. Are there Material Specifications for the pavers to be replaced?

R: Refer to Project Specifications and Drawings

4. Are there specifications for the Root Barrier and Edge Restraint required?

R: Refer to Project Specifications and Drawings

5. Re-use quantities of current setting bed acceptable?

6. Will cutting of pavers be required?

7. Will the irrigation system around the perimeter of both Trellis A & B be removed prior to start?

R: The irrigation system is not within the Area of Disturbance and will remain intact during this project. Refer to Project Specifications and Drawings

8. Do you want us to recycle good pavers and topsoil?

R: Salvaged pavers and topsoil are to be turned over to the Govt and a designated area will be provided.

9. What is the extent of the vine’s root removal within the 1-foot limitation boundary?

R: The contractor is responsible for providing identification for all employees and subs.

R: The laydown area is in the lower parking spaces adjacent to the Herb Garden and is approximately 100 FT from the Herb Garden entrance

12. What type of barriers will be required to place around construction activities?

Cones/caution tape? Hard barriers?

R: The contractor is responsible for determining what barrier they use to ensure that the staff and general public cannot enter into the construction zone. Refer to Project Specifications and Drawings

13. How are the existing benches secured?
