About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for preventative maintenance services for the FEI Quanta 200F Scanning Electron Microscope located at the Microscopy Unit of the Eastern Regional Research Center in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania. The microscope is a vital part of the facility used by 200 research scientists and their collaborators.

The SOW requires the selected contractor to provide annual preventative maintenance, software updates, on-site emergency service with a 48-hour response time, and one full maintenance service call with covered replacement parts annually. The contractor must be certified/trained by the manufacturer, FEI Company, to service this specialized instrument. The period of performance is a base year from September 2024 to September 2025, with two 1-year option periods. This SOW is related to a Sources Sought announcement for a Maintenance Contract for the FEI Quanta 200F SEM, with responses due by August 30th. The Government will not pay for information received or award a contract based solely on responses to the Sources Sought, which is for market research purposes only.
