Except as provided herein, all terms and conditions of the document referenced in Item 9 A or 10A, as heretofore changed, remains unchanged and in full force and effect .

Question 1: Please confirm this job involves repairing leaks only throughout the R.O. System in both buildings 10A/B.

Answer 1: The only pipes that will get repaired are only on the RO water system flex lines in B010A. The main lines have no issues in building 010A. 010B only has 1 broken main line pipe.

Question 2: Will the storage tanks for R.O. water remain in place?

Answer 2: Yes, the storage tanks will remail in place.

Question 3: Please confirm if all floors have Isolation Valves to allow each floor to be worked on independently.

Answer 3: All floors in building 010A have isolation valves on all floors (1-3) in each wing and the basement only has the main shut off valve for the entire system. In building 010B, the system will be replaced and a broken pipe inside the building will be repaired. The entire system can be shut down to make the repair to the broken pipe in building 010B.

Question 4: For each of the R.O. faucets in each lab, do you want a shut-off valve under the sink so faucets can be fixed independently and in groups?

Answer 4: Yes, it’s stated in the SOW pg3 (BUILDING 010A paragraph 2; sentence 4).

Question 5: Do you want a maintenance contract and warranty for the new systems?

Answer 5: Warranty must be in accordance with FAR Clause 52.246-21 Warranty of Construction. The Government is not requesting a maintenance contract.

Question 6: Are you purchasing the DI tanks or are these part of an exchange program?

Answer 6: The DI tanks are part of an exchange program.

Question 7: Is there 3 phase available for the RO or is 110v an option?

Answer 7: 3 phase is available (277/480v) & existing 120v available for each location.

Question 8: Are there existing storage tanks that will be used if so what proximity to the RO system?

Answer 8: The storage tanks are less than 20’ from the current RO systems in both buildings. These tanks will remain in place and used with the new systems being installed.

Question 9: Will there be a dumpster on site for use?

Answer 9: There are dumpsters onsite throughout the campus. COR will show the contractor what dumpsters are BARC managed.

Question 10: SOW paragraphs 1.2A on pages 3 and 7 state that water testing will be required. How many locations of random water tests are required at B10A & B10B after the new RO system is installed?

Answer 10: 4 for 010A & 3 for 010B-updated SOW.

Question 11: SOW page 3 indicates "contractor shall valve off each wing". Please confirm there is a valve existing to valve off each wing (north and south) for building 10A. Please confirm there is a valve at each floor for each wing. We understand that we are only installing shut off valves at supply lines before they branch off to the RO water faucets in each lab.

Answer 11: There are valves on each floor at each wing.

Question 12: SOW page 7 requires a start up report for B10B. What information should be included in this report? Note B10A does not require a report.

Answer 12: Included reports for both in updated SOW. Included information will be per manufacturer’s recommendations, will be determined by the manufacturer of the system the contractor choses to install.

Question 13: SOW page 11, 1.2 B states that the contractor shall furnish floor plans that reflect the engineer's original design. Please clarify what part of the submittal this is referring to. This contractor is prepared to supply the product data specified as there will be no change to the floor plans.

Answer 13: Updated language in SOW & Submittal Register to as-builts of new RO system.

Question 14: Please confirm that with proper coordination, the contractor will have access to one floor of one wing at a time of B10A to conduct flex piping replacement.

Answer 14: Updated SOW to notify COR 7 days in advance with a schedule to replace flex piping.

Question 15: SOW page 6 states "install new RO water flexible supply tubing, valves and connections inside each lab". Please confirm that the labs are only those that are labeled with the word "lab" on the drawings. If not, please provide a list of drawing room numbers.

Answer 15: List of rooms is as follows:
