Quesons and Answers

Question 1 Can you send me the original PDF so I can read it.

Answer Here is the original file to scale.

Question 2 Please confirm the grade of heart Redwood this project requires.

Con Heart: All heart wood but contains knots and wood imperfections.

Heart B: All heart redwood, contains limited to no knots and wood imperfections

Answer: Heart B

Question 3 Was there in an incumbent for this solicitation? If so, what was the awarded price?

If there is no incumbent, do you have a budget for this?

Answer: Fortunately, we are not allowed to give out the information you are asking for.

Attached is a fit to scale table drawing as your competition has already asked for.

Question 4 We noticed a potential discrepancy in the material requirements specified in Section D.1. The solicitation mentions the use of redwood or fir pressure-treated wood for the entire table but also specifies heart redwood for the table top and seat top.

Could you please clarify.

Answer:In the Description of Requirements it describes for either high quality Redwood or Douglas Fir. You as a contractor can use either type of high-quality wood to fulfill the need.

In attachment D.1 its intention is to show measurements and overall look and in attachment D.2 it shows the actual look of the intended table in color.

What you see here highlighted in red will be in the amended solicitation that I will be posting shortly.
