Clarifications to Solicitation 12034318Q0059 Lolo National Forest Maintenance Road Blading

1. The contractor is responsible for assuring that the road has proper moisture content throughout road blading process. If the road does not have proper moisture content and the contractor continues road blading then the contractor will have to apply water at their own expense to achieve proper moisture content. (See Quality Assurance Plan)

2. The contract shall be responsible for removing obstruction from the road way as necessary to accomplish the work. (See Statement of Work/Work Description)

3. A roller pass is defined as one trip of a roller in one direction over one spot. This contract requires two roller passes over the entire width of the road. (See Quality Assurance Plan)

4. The Contractor shall furnish everything necessary to fully complete the work. This includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and other incidentals (See Statement of Work/Work Description). Costs for mobilization and moves between job locations will be considered incidental to the ordered work, therefore the Contractor must consider this expense in the pricing (See Schedule Notes).

5. The road width varies between roads. (See Typical Grading Sections). Road widths typically vary between 14’ to 24’.
