About this file
This document outlines a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) for a laundry service contract. The contractor will be responsible for picking up, laundering, packaging, and delivering items from a government facility to a treatment facility within specified timeframes. Key performance standards include picking up items within 24 hours of order, certifying all laundry is clean without damage or shrinking, correctly sorting, folding, boxing, and labeling items, and delivering serviced laundry to the government within 5 days. The QASP identifies inspection methods and acceptance criteria for each task, and establishes disincentives such as 10% invoice deductions for late or noncompliant performance exceeding defined thresholds. It requires the contractor to submit quality control reports verifying service order quality, and rework any items not meeting standards at no additional cost.
The related federal contract opportunity is solicitation number 1202SC24Q2700 from the Department of Agriculture Forest Service for laundry services to support the Northwest Area Incident Support Cache located in Redmond, Washington.
