ROLLUP BAY DOORS INSTALLATION
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
1.0 BACKGROUND
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), requires the removal and replacement of two (2) customized Rolling Steel Doors.
2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Regulations;
2.2 Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidelines; and
2.3 Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Specifications.
3.0 REQUIREMENTS
3.1 The Contractor shall remove the current two (2) Rolling Steel Doors and provide disposal.
3.2 The Contractor shall provide and install two (2) customized Rolling Steel Doors that meet the following specifications:
3.2.1 First door: 10 foot by 9 foot, 6 inches Rolling Steel Service Door with jackshaft operators, baked enamel gray finish, double angle bottom bar, exterior weather seal, and hood baffle.
3.2.1.1 The jackshaft operators shall include ½ horsepower (HP) 208/230/460 Volts (V), 3 Phase (PH), one (1) open/close/stop wall station, brake, back up chain hoist, and electric safety edge.
3.2.2 Second door: 14 foot by 18 foot, 8 inches Rolling Steel Service Door with shaft operator, baked enamel gray finish, double angle bottom bar, exterior weather seal, and hood baffle.
3.2.2.1 The shaft operators shall include ½ HP, 208/230/460V, 3PH, one (1) open/close/stop wall station, brake, back up chain hoist, and electric safety edge.
3.3 The Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment for installation.
3.4 The Contractor shall assemble the doors and ensure they are operating in accordance with (IAW) OEM specifications.
3.5 The Contractor personnel shall wear personal protective equipment IAW OSHA regulations and CDC guidelines throughout the project.
3.6 The Contractor shall protect Government property from damage or disfigurement.
3.7 The Contractor shall keep all supplies, equipment, and tools out of traffic lanes or other areas where they might create a hazard.
3.8 The contractor shall perform all work during normal working hours, Monday through Friday, 0800 – 1600.
3.9 At the end of each work period, the Contractor shall secure all supplies, equipment and tools.
