About this file
This document is an amendment to a Request for Quotes (RFQ) issued by the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) Air and Radiation Administration for Laboratory Services. The RFQ, numbered BPM032638, is seeking a contractor to provide an estimated 4,000 or more radon test kits and associated laboratory services. The amendment addresses several questions raised by prospective contractors, including the use of specific test kit manufacturers, the requirement for a dedicated website, and the shelf life and charcoal content specifications for the test kits. The RFQ states that the contractor must meet the outlined requirements, and the contract is open to all prospective contractors who can fulfill the Scope of Work.
The document also includes the related state and local contract opportunity, which is for laboratory services to support the MDE Radiological Health Program. Prospective contractors must submit the required certifications outlined in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). The contract does not appear to have any set-aside requirements, and the current incumbent is not specified. The funding source and amounts are also not provided in the document.
