The requirement involves cutting non-seed orchard tree vegetation to reduce fire risk and intensity and minimize the spread of undesirable vegetation. Work scope includes mowing all grass, forbs, woody vegetation smaller than ½ inch ground line diameter, and woody debris smaller than 1 inch in maximum diameter, while larger diameter shrubs and obstacles such as rocks or steep slopes may be avoided. The applicable NAICS code is 115310 Forestry Services.
This is a competitive award against previously established multiple award schedule BPAs listed on SAM.gov, with responses due by close of business June 5, 2026. Organizations must submit organizational information (name, address, contact details, website, telephone, size, and ownership type) along with tailored capability statements supported by documentation of organizational and staff capability. If subcontracting or teaming is anticipated, respondents must address the administrative and management structure. The government will evaluate market capacity to provide services at consistent scope and scale, secure necessary corporate financial and human capital resources, implement successful project management plans with schedule compliance and cost containment, and deliver services under a performance-based acquisition vehicle. No feedback or evaluations will be provided to respondents. All responses must be emailed to Kevin D. Flores at kevin.flores@usda.gov.
