2.0 Background

This is an ongoing need to keep the USDA VS bovine tuberculous testing equipment operational and in safe operating condition. Due to the very low population density in the mission location, USDA Veterinary Services is requesting a sole source contract request with Lacross Services and Portable Welding. Market research has been conducted by the Animal Health Technician (AHT) located in the mission area for the maintenance of the equipment listed above. Three quotes have been obtained/provided which demonstrates that Lacross Services and Portable Welding can and will provide the needed services at the most economic rate/cost to the government.
