About this file

This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) cancellation notice issued by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) regarding ITB #11568 for historic exterior repairs to the Hughes House at Cape Blanco State Park. The cancellation was announced on November 19, 2024, and was executed pursuant to Oregon Administrative Rule 137-049-0270. OPRD has indicated its intention to resolicit the project at a future date with modified bid items to address the current scope and requirements.

The primary reason for cancellation was insufficient budget allocation to proceed with the original bid solicitation. OPRD expects to reissue the solicitation with adjustments to the bid items once funding is secured or reallocated. Winona Butler, Contracts and Procurement Specialist, issued the cancellation notice on behalf of the department, with Brian McBeth identified as the OPRD Project Manager responsible for the Hughes House project.
