STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

UPHOLSTERY FOR CGC NORTHLAND.

<September 14, 2023>

GENERAL

The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform as defined in this Scope of Work. The contractor must perform to all standards identified in this contract.

Background The awarded contractor is to re-upholster furniture to the requirements listed below for the Chief’s Mess, Messdeck, and crew lounges of USCGC Northland.

Scope Re-upholster damaged furniture in a few spaces onboard CGC Northland prior to 10/09/2023 using an easy to clean and durable dark navy blue vinyl.

· Chiefs Mess. (fig. A)

· 2 tables covers 36” x 35.5”.

· L shape bench with inside storage. (frame and cushions)

· Messdeck. (fig. B)

· 2 long table covers 90.5” x 24”

· 4 long bench covers 91” x 12.5”

· 5 short table covers 65.5” x 24”

· 10 short table covers 67” x 12.5”

· Middle Lounge. (fig. C)

· Three 77”Lx 30”W: 3-seat couch.

SITE VISIT

Northland will be available for a site visit from 0700 to 1300 Monday through Thusday.

QUALIFIED PERSONNEL

The Contractor shall provide qualified personnel to perform all requirements specified in this SOW.

CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL

The contractor must not employ persons for work on this contract if such employee is considered by the contracting officer to be a potential threat to the health, safety, security, general well-being, or operational mission of the installation and its population. Contactor personnel must present a neat appearance and be easily recognized as contractor employees.

Period of Performance

The period of performance for this contract shall not exceed October 27, 2023. Work to be completed should have minimal impact on the unit’s operation. The contractor shall perform all site work during the normal operation hours, 0700- 1300 Mon-Fri except during federal holidays.

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE

The awarded contractor is intended to upholster the furniture at the site of their choosing with the delivery to:

USCGC NORTHLAND

4000 Coast Guard Boulevard

USCG Base Portsmouth

Portsmouth, VA, 23703

PROJECT COMPLETION

All work completed must meet the Unit’s POC expectation as outlined in this SOW. The site is to be at a minimum as clean of a condition it was found in. All trash, debris, materials removed, etc, should be properly disposed by the contractor. There will be no on-site storage available for the duration of this project.
