HBCU Experience Q&A Spreadsheet RFQ # 1145PC24Q0023
Vendor Name (Vendor names will not be included in Government response to all)Question TitleSection NumberClarifying QuestionGovernment Comment
Materials Purchase Quantity5.4.6.1Are the quantities notes for each suggested promotional item the total quantities for the 8-12 week portion of the program or for the entire 6 months? Are the quantities listed per HBCU location or total numbers? For the 8-12 weeks of the active tour: 10,000 Rally Towels; 8,000 Clear Totes; 18,000 Koozies; 10,000 Folding Fans. These would be divided evenly among the 9-10 stops on the tour.
Additional Personnel5.4.1.4Should our quotes include any additional Brand Ambassadors aside from the driver and tour manager? If so, how many Brand Ambassadors are desired for each HBCU location? No. Brand Ambassadors are not requested or required for this solicitation. Peace Corps will provide staff/recruiters/ambassadors for each tour stop.
Permit Fees5.4.5In relation to including all permit fees into the firm fixed price, are we to project an estimated fee cost for the extension of the program after the initial 8-12 week program? If so, on average how many additional permits are expected over the 6 month period?Estimated permit fees for extension of the program beyond the initial 8-12 weeks is not required at this time. An estimate will be requested of the vendor that is awarded the contract at such time the Agency exercises its option to extend or add additional tour stops. Vendor may instead wish to include any vehicle storage/parking fee, or any other associated fees that can be reasonably anticipated, for the entire 6 month period.
Lease5.1.1 Vehicle Lease AgreementCan you clarify that a vehicle does NOT need to be secured prior to the award of the contract? (In other words, a currently owned vehicle cannot satisfy contract requirements.)While the vehicle does not need to be secured prior to the award of the contract, a response to this solicitation indicates that the vendor reasonably asserts and affirms that it can both secure the vehicle and meet all other requirements of the solicitation (e.g., interior and exterior fabrication and customizations, logistics support, etc.) within the specified timeline.
Lease5.1.1 Vehicle Lease Agreement1. Also, are there any exclusions regarding leasing companies? There are no exclusions. Any leasing companies should be businesses in good standing with a reliable track record of performance.
