Questions and Answers (3Nov23)
Q1) Is there an incumbent for Solicitation 11316024Q0001EOP? If so, provide contract number?
A1) The incumbent is currently Henry’s Parking. The order number is 11316018P0007OAS.
Q2) What was the cost of the award of the incumbent? And how long have they had this contract?
A2) The award was for a no-cost value. However, the estimated total award of the incumbent was $412,920. The order was a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods.
Q3) How would you like this offer submitted?
A3) Offers should be submitted via email to timothy.J.Lazatin@oa.eop.gov and Carlos.R.Kinsman@oa.eop.gov.
Q4) Are you looking for 186 reserve parking spaces and valet parking? Or just the Valet Services?
A4) This requirement is for valet services.
Q5) About how many cars will be valet on a daily basis?
A5) This may vary depending on the number of vehicles that are “blocked in”, compounded by the number of employees that will be granted parking access. In addition, the valet services are not for every vehicle that enters the garage, only as a means to optimize parking for the parking garage.
Q6) Is the contractor responsible for the security of the cars? Or the parking garage?
Q6) The contractor is not responsible for the security of the cars or parking garage. This is for valet services.
Q7) Please elaborate on the quantity and unit price of the FFP table on page 4 of the solicitation? Will there is this priced per unit or visit?
A7) Offerors should price the monthly rate of one employee under the “unit price”. This is not for the price per vehicle parked. The “Total Price” is the “unit price” multiplied by 186 (parking spaces) for 12 months.
Q8) "INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS" > "VOLUME IV: PRICE" it says, "All pricing information shall be included in Volume III, and no pricing information shall be included in any other Volume." Should pricing only go in VOLUME IV instead?
A8) The government will accept a volume IV pricing or a completion of the FFP table as seen in page 4 of the RFQ document.
Q9) Is a site visit available for offerors?
Please request a site visit by contacting Timothy Lazatin at (202)395-6538 for scheduling. However, the government may or may not get approvals for a site visit.
