About this file

This document is Addendum 001 for RFQ #1124-25Q issued by Colorado Mountain College on March 21, 2025, related to a Breathing Air Compressor procurement. The addendum addresses two key clarification questions from potential bidders, specifically confirming the requirement for filling stations and providing guidance on compressor specifications. The college requires at least 3 filling stations (with a preference for 4) and seeks a compressor capable of handling the operational demand of filling 2 dozen bottles a day, 3 days a week, for 32 weeks per year.

The addendum notably indicates there is no absolute specification for the compressor unit, allowing vendors flexibility in their proposals as long as they can meet the outlined operational requirements. This approach suggests the college is seeking a solution that meets functional needs rather than prescribing exact technical specifications, which may provide vendors more latitude in proposing suitable equipment. The document provides minimal additional context about budget, funding sources, or evaluation criteria, focusing instead on clarifying the basic operational expectations for the breathing air compressor system.

March 21, 2025 1124-25Q Addendum 1

RFQ #1124-25Q

Breathing Air Compressor

Addendum 001 Issued March 21st, 2025

1. Does CMC need filling stations as well?

Yes, as mentioned in the RFQ, we need at least 3 filling stations (with a preference of 4).

2. Is it possible to attach the exact schedule/spec as a screen shot or a pdf?

There is no absolute specification for the unit we purchase, however any model submitted for review should be able to meet the demand loosely specified within the RFQ – “a compressor capable of handling the rigors of filling 2 dozen bottles a day, 3 days a week, 32 weeks a year.”
