MILPOWER MEDIA CONVERTER UPGRADE
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
1.0 BACKGROUND
The Naval Systems Warfare Center Dam Neck Activity (NSWC DNA32) is the Navy's hardware design agent for Ship’s Self Defense System (SSDS). Its primary focus is to develop and procure the electronic equipment required for SSDS. The Navy procured twenty-two (22) Miltech media converters, which failed the environmental qualification test for transient voltage spike. The Government requires the units to be upgraded in order to pass qualification testing.

| 3.0 | REQUIREMENTS |
| 3.1 | The Contractor shall develop a transient voltage hardware solution for the Miltech 1000 1-1000AC-21441 media converter in order to pass environmental qualification testing for transient voltage spike. |
| 3.2 | The Contractor shall provide upgrade of a quantity of 22 Miltech 1000 1-1000AC-21441 media converters with the transient voltage suppressor hardware solution. |
| 3.3 | The Contractor shall test the upgraded Miltech 1000 1-1000AC-21441 in accordance with (IAW) MIL-STD-1399 transient voltage spike test. |
| 3.4 | The Contractor shall return the 22 updated units to the government after successful completion of the MIL-STD-1399, Section 300 Part 1 transient voltage spike test. |
| 3.5 | The Contractor shall coordinate with the technical point of contact (TPOC) identified below to complete this work. |
| 4.0 | GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED PROPERTY/MATERIAL/INFORMATION (GFP/GFM/GFI) |
| 4.1 | The government has already provided one (1) Miltech 1000 1-1000AC-21441 media converter to Milpower, serial number 1000151141, valued at $4,500. |
| 4.2 | The government will provide 21 each Miltech 1000 1-1000-21441 media converters to Milpower for upgrade, valued at $94,500 as follows, upon award of the order: |
5.0 SECURITY
All work performed under this effort shall be unclassified.
6.0 TRAVEL
No travel is required.
