The Federal Housing Administration (FHA), a division of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), oversees the single-family mortgage insurance program. HUD administers the Real Estate Owned (REO) disposition program through four, Homeownership Centers (HOC) located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Atlanta, Georgia; Denver, Colorado; and Santa Ana, California.
