About this file
This is a Bid Form and Price Schedule (Attachment A) for Murray City, Utah's Invitation for Bid (IFB) 26-22 for Park Center Roof Replacement. The project requires complete removal and disposal of existing roofing materials, deck and substrate repairs, insulation installation, and placement of a new 60 mil TPO roofing system with drainage improvements, flashings, coping, parapet work, and related accessories. The scope is divided into nine distinct roof areas (Areas 1-9) as identified on Attachment D – Map of the Park Center Roof. Bidders must provide comprehensive pricing that includes all labor, materials, equipment, demolition, disposal, permits and fees, cranes, temporary facilities, site protection, cleanup, warranties, insurance, bonding, overhead, and profit necessary for complete performance of the work.
The Total Base Bid serves as the sole price for bid comparison and must account for all work specified in the IFB, plans, specifications, attachments, and addenda. Bidders are required to break down costs by roof area across six cost categories: Labor, Materials, Equipment, Disposal, Permits & Fees, and Other/Overhead & Profit. The bid form also requests separate unit pricing for optional items including insulation replacement, steel deck replacement, coping, wood nailer, and walk pads, measured per square foot or linear foot as applicable. Additionally, bidders may submit pricing for two Additive Alternates—ladder access between roof sections and a release-sheet TPO system installation—which are optional and will not affect award determination. Bidders must complete a Construction Preference Certification addressing qualified health insurance coverage, drug and alcohol testing policies, veteran employment programs, job training programs, safety programs, and formal nondiscrimination policies, with award remaining subject to responsiveness, responsibility, and the construction preference system outlined in the IFB and Murray City Code 3.10.370.
