About this file
The document is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Central Agricultural Research Center (CARC) in Moccasin, Montana, seeking DNA sequencing services for purified DNA samples from soil and barley rhizosphere. The bid (MSU-IFB-B0004618) is for two separate but related line items: 1,124 samples for 16S sequencing and 1,124 samples for ITS sequencing, with a requested delivery date of 6/20/2022. The sequencing must be performed on the Illumina MiSeq platform using 300+300 bp paired-end reads with 50,000 reads per sample, and include library preparation costs using universal V4-V5 primers for bacterial 16S and ITS2 primers for fungi. The bid was open from 1/11/2022 to 1/20/2022, with a contact person named Ramie Pederson.
The bid is categorized under the commodity code 3003 for Laboratory Services, and requires bidders to provide a current W-9 form, company name for invoicing, and documentation of capability to fulfill the bid. Payment terms are set at 0% 0, Net 30, meaning full payment is due within 30 days of invoice.
