About this file

This document is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) for the Child Care Stabilization Grant Opportunity. The grant is open to Montana-based licensed and registered child care providers from November 27, 2021, to December 3, 2021, with the solicitation number DPHHS-CCSG22-8. Eligible providers can apply for funding to stabilize their child care businesses, with the potential to receive 80-100% of their operating expenses. Allowable expenses include personnel costs, rent/mortgage, facility expenses, personal protective equipment, staff training, COVID-19 response equipment, and goods and services necessary to maintain or resume child care services.

To be eligible, child care providers must meet specific criteria: be licensed or registered by Montana Child Care Licensing, be in good standing, be open or temporarily closed due to COVID-19 related reasons, and be registered with the Montana Secretary of State. The grant is part of a broader effort to support child care businesses during the ongoing public health emergency. Providers must complete and upload a signed application through the eMACS system and complete vendor registration steps.
