One (1) Classroom x 48 weeks over a five (5) year contract period = 240 Classrooms weeks. Since the rate for Head Start is different from Early Head Start there are separate lines for Head Start and Early Head Start.

When the quoted price is entered the resulting amount is the price to operate one (1) classroom for the extended five (5) year contract period.

1.3.8.5.11 The estimated target quantity on the training lines represents the anticipated number of teacher training days over a five (5) year contract period. Assuming that there will be a maximum of 10 mandated training days per year, one (1) teacher x 10 training days per year x five

(5) years = 50 training days. When the quoted price is entered the resulting amount on the training lines the bidder will enter a daily rate for teacher training and a daily rate for assistant teacher training.

1.3.8.5.12 The Administration for Children & Families, Office of Head Start, may issue an annual Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA). This adjustment whenever issued will be administered as a COLA adjustment.
