About this file

This is a procurement specification document for eight unique RF filters manufactured by VIAVI Solutions Inc. The procurement requires 12 units of each of eight filter models, totaling 96 units. The eight models are: G700050601 (696-716 MHz), G700050602 (776-788 MHz), G700050603 (806-849 MHz), G700050604 (1710-1755 MHz), G700050605 (1850-1910 MHz), G700050606 (703-748 MHz), G700050611 (2500-2570 MHz), and G700050613 (3300-3800 MHz). All units must meet specified electrical performance characteristics including passband frequency ranges, insertion loss (maximum 2.5-4.0 dB depending on model), minimum attenuation (40-60 dBc), and out-of-band rejection. All filters must operate across -10 to +65°C with N-type connectors (N-F input, N-M output) and 50 Ohm impedance.

Supplier responsibilities include manufacturing, testing, certifying, and delivering all units with individual test reports confirming compliance, Certificates of Conformance for each lot, and final delivery manifests. Units must be packaged to prevent shock, vibration, moisture intrusion, and ESD damage. The expected lead time is six weeks after receipt of order. Vendor shall provide a detailed production and delivery timeline within five business days of contract award. Pricing shall be firm-fixed-price covering fabrication, testing, documentation, and delivery of all 96 units. Acceptance is contingent upon meeting all specified passband, insertion loss, attenuation, out-of-band rejection, and environmental specifications as validated by supplier-provided test documentation.

RF Filters VIAVI Solutions Inc.

1. Purpose

This document defines the procurement requirements for eight (8) unique RF filters manufactured by VIAVI Solutions Inc. Each filter type will be procured in a quantity of twelve (12), for a total of 96 units.

2. Background

Adding a filter to an RF path reduces unwanted signals and interference and improves system performance. For applications involving investigation of cellular frequencies, band-specific RF filters allow isolation of particular ranges, enhancing measurement accuracy and reducing adjacent-channel interference. This ensures accurate analysis of cellular emissions.

The specific RF filter models required are already available for manufacture and procurement through authorized distributors and directly through the manufacturer.

3. Units

The supplier shall manufacture, test, certify, and deliver 12 units of each of the eight RF filter models listed in Section 4. All units must meet or exceed the technical specifications provided.

Fabrication of 12 units per design Compliance with electrical, mechanical, and environmental specifications Quality assurance testing and reporting Certification of Conformance Packaging and delivery

4. Technical Requirements

Each RF filter shall meet its specified performance characteristics, including Passband, Insertion Loss (Max), Attenuation (Min), Out-of-Band Rejection, environmental survivability, and connector requirements.
