About this file
The document is a Request for Quotation (RFQt) issued by the City of Fort Worth Purchasing Division, specifically targeting the procurement of patrol bicycles, bicycle parts, accessories, maintenance, and repair services for the Transportation and Public Works (TPW) Department. The RFQt (Reference #25-0235) seeks qualified bidders who can provide reliable, high-quality bicycles and related services, with a recommended bicycle model of Marlin 5 from Trek Bicycle Corporation. The specifications outline detailed requirements for bicycle components, including an all-black frame with a 29" wheel size, specific component details like a 9-speed shifter and Bontrager parts, and additional assets such as a rear mount kickstand and reflectors.
The pricing structure requires bidders to submit hourly rates for standard and rush repair services, with maintenance agreement pricing to include all labor, parts, and materials for standard maintenance. Bidders must have a permanent business address in Fort Worth or surrounding counties, possess three years of bicycle repair experience, and provide compatible parts matching or exceeding the quality of the submitted bicycle. The warranty terms include a minimum one-year manufacturer warranty for equipment and a 30-day warranty for repair services. The City reserves the right to determine equal products and expects vendors to remedy any defects or damages at their own expense, with the potential to replace or repair items if the vendor fails to do so within 30 days of notification.
