Harris County, Texas has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for an Integrated Justice Information System (IJIS) Integration Platform through the Harris County Purchasing Department. The RFI, Project No. MAY71025, seeks information from qualified vendors regarding the development and implementation of a platform to modernize and enhance the current JWEB solution, with responses due by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. The RFI requests detailed technical information about the proposed IJIS platform, including comprehensive technical specifications, integration capabilities, security and compliance features (particularly related to Criminal Justice Information Services standards), scalability, user interface design, and case studies of previous deployments. Vendors are specifically instructed to provide information about platform capabilities without submitting pricing estimates, with the possibility of being invited to deliver a presentation or demonstration. The document emphasizes that this is an information-gathering exercise only, and does not constitute a commitment to procure services or products, with all submissions becoming Harris County property and not subject to return.
