Product Specifications Summary
This is a product specification document for Milwaukee County Mitchell International Airport (5300 S. Howell Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin) requesting one new electric micro slim slab scissor lift or equivalent. The specification is performance-based and nonproprietary, allowing any manufacturer's product that meets or exceeds the stated requirements to be considered. The equipment must be suitable for indoor and outdoor use in restricted spaces and building interiors, capable of passing through standard commercial doorways. The specification does not identify specific response dates, due dates, site visits, or bidder conferences; rather, it establishes the minimum performance and design standards that prospective bidders must meet in their proposals.
The scissor lift must meet specific performance criteria including a minimum 550-pound platform capacity, accommodation for two personnel, 25% gradeability, and electric front-wheel drive with zero inside turn radius. Working heights must reach a minimum of 38 feet indoors and 30 feet outdoors, with a stowed height not exceeding 96 inches to facilitate passage through standard doorways. The maximum overall width is 32 inches and maximum machine weight is approximately 7,145 pounds. The equipment must include a maintenance-free battery system with approximately 240 Ah capacity, comprehensive safety features including emergency stop controls, laser perimeter lighting, motion alarms, and automatic parking brakes. Bidders must submit manufacturer specifications, compliance documentation, and warranty terms demonstrating equivalency; the owner reserves the right to determine whether proposed equipment is equal or equivalent to the specification requirements. Warranty coverage must include a minimum one-year warranty on defective components and a five-year warranty on structural components, with delivery FOB destination including full assembly, operational readiness, and complete documentation.
