About this file

This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Single-Source Purchase Order issued by the Forty Niners Stadium Management Company, a California-based entity managing Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. The Stadium Manager plans to award a single-source purchase order to Arata Equipment Company, the exclusive authorized Northern California reseller of Sanitech compactor systems, for the purchase and installation of four new trash compactor systems. The Notice of Intent (NOI#: FY25-0091) was issued on December 22, 2025, with an electronic submission deadline of January 7, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. Responses must be submitted through the Stadium Manager's eProcurement Portal at https://49ers.bonfirehub.com/portal/. The justification for single sourcing is based on the existing electrical, structural, and physical infrastructure at Levi's Stadium, which was specifically designed to support Sanitech compactor systems featuring automated tippers, fully electric motors, customized electrical hookup points, and installed floor rails aligned with Mission Trail Waste Systems' waste collection trucks. Modifying the current infrastructure to accommodate alternative compactor systems would result in significant additional costs, system downtime, and inefficient resource allocation for staff retraining and troubleshooting.

Respondents are required to submit information including the make and model of the proposed trash compactor system with relevant product specifications, a discussion of how their firm will address the infrastructure requirements, and contact information for follow-up questions. Interested parties must clearly mark any proprietary information in their submissions. The procurement contact is the Procurement Department at proc@49ers-smc.com, located at 4900 Marie P DeBartolo Way, Santa Clara, CA 95054. No pricing terms, set-asides, contract duration, or renewal options are specified in this Notice of Intent document. Technical support for submission issues is available through Bonfire at support.bonfire@eunasolutions.com.

The Forty Niners Stadium Management Company (“Stadium Manager”) plans to award a Single Source Purchase Order to Arata Equipment Company, the exclusive authorized Northern California reseller of Sanitech compactor systems, for the purchase and installation of four (4) new trash compactor systems.

The basis for single sourcing this purchase to Arata Equipment Company is that the existing electrical, structural, and physical infrastructure was specifically designed to support the four Sanitech trash compactor systems used at Levi’s Stadium, which involves a confined space. The design features automated tippers, a fully electric motor, continuous operation, customized electric hookup points, roll-off bins that meet the weight and size requirements of Mission Trail Waste Systems' trucks, and installed floor rails that align the roll-off bins with the waste collection trucks. Stadium Manager’s staff have been trained to operate each compactor system. Modifying the current compactor infrastructure would result in significant additional costs, system downtime, and inefficient allocation of additional resources to train and troubleshoot a new system.

This recommendation is consistent with the applicable purchasing code, which states that a single source is appropriate when required to ensure operation or function to match other products with respect to repair, expansion, or completion of a system, existing structure, or program currently in use.

Information to include in your response:

1.The make and model of the trash compactor system for the Stadium Manager to consider, including all relevant product information.
2.Discussion on how your firm will address the infrastructure requirements as described above.
3.Contact information: name and contact information of the representative the Stadium Manager should contact in the event there are follow-up questions.

Interested parties who submit information are responsible for clearly marking any information submitted in response to this Notice that is proprietary in nature.
