About this file

This document specifies the salient characteristics and design requirements for two configurations of adjustable sit/stand workstation consoles designed to support six VESA-mountable 24-inch monitors in a 2x3 configuration.

Both the Left Hand Configuration and Right Hand Configuration share identical core specifications: an adjustable height workstation with electronic actuator legs and controls, ranging from a minimum work surface height of 30 inches (sitting position) to a maximum of 55 inches (standing position); a worksurface measuring no less than 77 inches wide by 36 inches deep; an overall desk size of no less than 78 inches wide by 49 inches deep; mobile capability with casters and locking functionality; two cable management tracks between the worksurface and cable tray; and a concealable cable management tray on the rear side of the tabletop. The primary distinction between configurations is the placement of equipment cabinets. The Left Hand Configuration includes a 3-CPU cabinet (27 inches wide ±3/4 inch by 23 inches high ±1/2 inch) on the left side and a 1-CPU cabinet (10 inches wide ±1/2 inch by 22 inches tall) on the right side, while the Right Hand Configuration reverses this arrangement. Both configurations require 36 inches of separation between cabinets, with cabinets preferred to be open without front or rear doors. Consoles are to be delivered unassembled with manufacturer-provided assembly instructions for customer assembly due to storage and mission requirements. Technical drawings and dimensional details are provided as photo references.
