About this file

This is a Commercial Only One Source Justification (NTE SAT) submitted in accordance with FAR 12.102(a) for a sole source procurement by NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Centers (FLC).

The procurement is for EC-P4N Micro Control Sub Assembly parts (Part Number 6536TS-DE6XP; Stock Number T23192498) required for the APL-M91A030009 Washer Extractor NX60-NSWE installed on T-AKE 4 naval vessels. The requirement specifies a quantity of two units with a compressed delivery date. The restricted source is The Edro Corporation, a small business manufacturer (CAGE Code 01551, NAICS 334418) represented by Point of Contact Scott Kirejczyk. The justification asserts that only authorized sources may provide these critical safety items per COMSC Instruction 4490.1C, which designates washer extractors as critical ship safety equipment essential for sanitation, operational readiness, crew morale, and compliance with stringent safety regulations including emergency stop features and drainage system connections. The basis for sole sourcing emphasizes the high-volume efficiency of the equipment, its role in maintaining hygienic conditions during extended deployments, and its designation as mission-critical equipment under the MSC Ship Critical Safety Systems and Equipment List.
