About this file

This document is a Limited-Sources Justification for a GSA Order by the National Science Foundation (NSF) for Cybersecurity and Privacy Services.

NSF intends to award a Task Order on a sole-source basis to Criterion Systems Inc. under the GSA Multiple-Award Schedule Program. The services focus on providing IT security operations support, contingency planning, vulnerability management, incident management, and other cybersecurity and privacy-related functions for NSF information systems. NSF has a continuing need for these services and determined that Criterion Systems is the logical follow-on provider based on a previous task order. NSF conducted market research that received 40 responses from interested vendors, but will not be able to award a new competitive contract prior to the expiration of the current order in August 2024. NSF plans to compete the requirement in FY24/FY25 to replace the follow-on order.
