About this file

This is a Market Survey document issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Weapons Support division located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania for solicitation SPRMM1-27-R-KA28. DLA is evaluating the potential for a 5-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with an estimated ceiling of $8,000,000 to procure Function Generators (NSN: 7050 016775004, Part Number: 33521BN) with an estimated annual quantity of 75 units. The current approved supplier is Keysight Technologies (CAGE: 7ZXR5). The survey seeks alternate products from potential suppliers that maintain the same form, fit, and function while remaining compatible with existing weapons system components. The resulting solicitation is anticipated to incorporate DLAD Procurement Note L27, which allows for the addition and deletion of related items within the Keysight OEM product line.

The market survey requests detailed information from potential suppliers regarding product availability, commercial or commercial off-the-shelf status, pricing arrangements, delivery schedules, inventory maintenance, company size, manufacturing capabilities, and willingness to accept option years with Economic Price Adjustment clauses. Suppliers must also provide evidence of commercial sales, pricing documentation, warranties, and catalogs demonstrating the commercial application of the item. Responses were required by the closing date specified in the accompanying Sources Sought Notice. The survey explicitly notes this is informational only and does not constitute a formal solicitation or commitment of government funds.
