About this file
This is a Market Survey issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Weapons Support–Mechanicsburg for a potential 5-year IDIQ Contract for hand lift trucks. The survey is not a Request for Quote but rather a pre-solicitation inquiry to gather market information and assess supplier capabilities prior to formal solicitation release.
The procurement concerns National Stock Number (NSN) 3920-011527179, Part Number 5167104, with an estimated yearly quantity of 60 units. DLA Weapons Support–Mechanicsburg seeks alternate products with the same form, fit, and function that are functionally compatible with existing weapons system components. The currently approved supplier is DEVAL CORPORATION (CAGE 11201). Responses must be submitted by email to Matthew Forsythe (matthew.forsythe@dla.mil) by the closing date specified in the Sources Sought Notice. The survey requests information on product availability, commercial item status, pricing lists, recommended quantity ranges for better pricing, normal delivery timeframes, inventory maintenance, FOB terms acceptability, company size and structure, cost or pricing data capability for contracts exceeding $2,500,000, dominant materials composition, minimum order quantities or dollar values, willingness to accept option years with Economic Price Adjustment clauses using Producer Price Index adjustments, and evidence of commercial sales or modifications. Additional detailed commercial item questions require supporting documentation such as proof of sales to commercial accounts, evidence of availability timelines, technical drawings comparing commercial and modified versions, commercial warranty copies, and price lists or catalogs demonstrating commercial use and application.
