1.0 Background/Introduction:

The Dudley Knox Library (DKL) provides access to high quality scholarly resources that strengthen the teaching, learning, and research efforts of Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) students, faculty, and researchers. These resources support the school's mission to provide an excellent defense-focused graduate education to advance the warfighting advantage of the Naval service. Selection is based on relevance to curricula and research interest, the quality of content, and some technical delivery preferences.

Clarivate’s Web of Science (WoS) database and associated platform resources are part of the core set of resources of an academic library and have been an essential and well-used part of the library's electronic content portfolio. These products provide comprehensive discovery functionality and citation analytics of peer-reviewed high-impact journals that are crucial to researchers at NPS. Continued access to the Clarivate platform is essential for supporting research and instruction activities at NPS.
