STATEMENT OF WORK
FY26 CNRSW FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES (F&ES) STATION &
STRUXIMITY BOOT IDIQ
1. BACKGROUND:
The Department of Defense (DoD) Fire Department previously used Honeywell PRO Series Struximity Boots, Honeywell First Responder Black Turnout Model #5050 and Fire Fighter Honeywell, Station boots #3003. As of 30 January, 2025, Honeywell will no longer produce the Honeywell PRO Series Struximity Boots, First Responder Black Turnout Model #5050. The proposed Honeywell boots being offered as a replacement, do not meet Berry Amendment compliance requirements. The Honeywell Fire Fighter Station boots, Model #3003, will continue to be used unless a Berry compliant boot can be provided that meets all requirements. As the Berry Amendment mandates that all products procured by the DoD must be made from U.S.- sourced materials, the department is seeking a new boot solution that meets both operational needs and full compliance with U.S. sourcing regulations, while maintaining the high standards of performance and safety expected from fire and emergency response footwear.
