About this file

This document contains air cleaner and filter specifications for the Department of State's European Logistics Support Office (ELSO). The key requirements include:

220/240V - 50/60 Hz power with European 'Schuko' plug, a minimum Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of 240 cubic feet per minute, True HEPA filtration, maximum noise levels of 40/60 decibels, replaceable filters, and portability as a free-standing floor model. The air cleaners must also be ENERGY STAR certified and meet ozone emission standards. Specific models required are the Bluair Pro M for 200-400 sq ft rooms and the Bluair 405 for 400-600 sq ft rooms, with proposed models required to cover the contract period.

This specification is associated with a Department of State Request for Information (RFI) for air purification products for overseas use. The RFI is for market research purposes only and does not intend to result in a contract award.

8 Portable free standing floor model out of the box (no assembly required). No wall or ceiling units

9 Air cleaners that may emit ozone must be tested for electrical safety and ozone emissions, and meet an ozone emission concentration limit of 0.050 parts per million through tests outlined in UL Standard 867 Section 37.1.20. Certification by the California Environmental Protection Agency Air Resources Board (see http://www.arb.ca.gov/research/indoor/aircleaners/certified.htm ) Listing on this site is considered documentation of this requirement.
