About this file
This document is an Agency Release for Competitive Solicitation from the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) and Office of Information Technology (OIT) governing state IT procurement processes. The document provides instructions for agencies to release competitive solicitations for IT purchases, requiring agencies to submit documentation to das.state.itplanning.manager@das.ohio.gov for review and coordination with OIT subject matter experts before issuing a solicitation. Agencies must include Supplement A for architectural compliance and Data Security and Privacy Terms in their solicitation documents, with suppliers required to complete these sections thoroughly.
The review process involves a 3-week evaluation period after proposal selection, during which the selected supplier's proposal and Supplement A will be reviewed by Vanitha Zacharias, Administrator of Investment and Governance at OIT, and the Office of Information Security and Privacy. OIT reserves the right to engage suppliers to resolve any architectural or security concerns before contract award. The document emphasizes compliance with Ohio Revised Code 125.18 and PM-01 policies for IT sourcing events, with Delania Hopper from OIT's Strategic Investment and Architecture group serving as the point of contact for questions regarding OIT reviews.
