About this file
This document is a Procurement Portal Instructions file issued by the City of Charlotte Water for vendors participating in their electronic bidding process. The instructions detail the submission process for solicitation questions and bid responses through the Bonfire online procurement portal (https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com). Vendors are required to submit all questions and bid submissions electronically through this platform, with a strong recommendation to begin the upload process ideally one week before the project's posted deadline to account for potential file size and internet connection variations.
The document provides technical guidance for vendor participation, specifying compatible web browsers (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox) and requiring JavaScript and browser cookies to be enabled. For technical support, vendors can access Bonfire's help forum, contact their support team via email (Support@GoBonfire.com) or phone (1-800-354-8010), and are directed to watch a five-minute training video on vendor registration and submission. The instructions are designed to ensure a smooth, standardized electronic bidding process for potential contractors interested in City of Charlotte procurement opportunities.
