About this file

This document provides procurement portal instructions for the City of Charlotte, detailing the electronic submission process for solicitation questions and project bids through the Bonfire online platform. Vendors must submit all questions and proposals electronically via https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com, with submissions required to be uploaded, submitted, and finalized prior to the project's posted due date. The city recommends allowing sufficient time for submission, ideally a week before the deadline, to account for potential upload complexities related to file size and internet connection speed.

The instructions specify technical requirements for accessing the procurement portal, including compatible web browsers (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox) with JavaScript and browser cookies enabled. For technical support, vendors can access Bonfire's help forum at https://vendorsupport.gobonfire.com/hc/en-us, contact the support team via email at Support@GoBonfire.com, or call 1-800-354-8010. A five-minute training video on vendor registration and submission is also recommended to assist vendors in navigating the electronic procurement process.
