About this file
This document is a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (JOTFOC) for a succeeding lease (GS-04P-LFL01782) under Project Number 0FL2298. The General Services Administration (GSA) Region 4 is seeking to negotiate a 13-year (10-year firm) succeeding lease with the incumbent lessor, Dade County Aviation, for 2,488 rentable square feet of office space at the Miami International Airport.
The agency, whose identity is redacted, is required to be located at the Miami International Airport for its mission. Market research did not identify any alternative locations that could meet the 2,488 RSF requirement. The anticipated rental rate for the firm and non-firm terms is deemed fair and reasonable by the GSA Lease Contracting Officer. The current lease expires on July 9, 2024, and this succeeding lease will prevent the government from being in a high-risk holdover situation.
