This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for Systems Modeling Language (SysML®) training services to be provided to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).
The contractor shall deliver four training courses during Fiscal Year 2026, comprising two one-day SysML®101 classes and two 2.5-day SysML®201 classes. SysML®101 training must cover model-based engineering (MBE), model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and essentials of SysML® including how to read and understand existing models. SysML®201 training must address advanced MBE, advanced MBSE, SysML® parametric functionality, and SysML® documentation generation. All four courses are preferred to be scheduled prior to the end of September 2026, conducted between 0800-1600 hours, with a maximum of 20 participants per class. Training will be delivered at either the University of Mary Washington Dahlgren Campus or JD's Conference Center in Dahlgren, Virginia, with course dates to be finalized by NSWCDD at least 30 days in advance. The contractor must provide all training materials per CDRL A001, supply each participant with the book "FMS 2015, A Practical Guide to SysML®: The Systems Modeling Language," provide computers loaded with course software, share course evaluations with NSWCDD upon completion, and coordinate scheduling with the designated Technical Point of Contact. The contractor shall provide two personnel to travel to Dahlgren, Virginia for each course, with travel conducted in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations (FTR). The Government will furnish classroom workspace and coordinate base access if needed. This SOW continues a previous training relationship with Georgia Institute of Technology under a prior contract.

SYSTEMS MODELING LANGUAGE (SysML®) TRAINING
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
1.0 BACKGROUND
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) had previously contracted with Georgia Institute of Technology under contract number to provide the organization with Systems Modeling Language SysML®101 and SysML®201 training. NSWCDD requires a continuing relationship with the Georgia Institute of Technology (GIT) in order to continue the successful training previously provided through Fiscal Year (FY) 2026.
2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 GIT Syllabus; and
2.2 Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidelines.
3.0 REQUIREMENTS
The contractor shall provide two (2), one (1) day SysML®101 classes and two (2), two and a half days (2.5) SysML®201 classes during Fiscal Year 26.
NOTE: The NSWCDD will finalize a confirmed date at least thirty (30) days before the desired course date.
3.1 The Contractor shall provide training as follows:
3.1.1 SysML®101 (1-day class) to include the following:
• Model-based engineering (MBE)
• Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Essentials of SysML®, how to read and understand existing SysML® models.
3.1.2 SysML® 201 (2.5-day class) to include the following:
• Advanced Model-based engineering (MBE)
• Advanced Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• SysML® parametric
• SysML® documentation generation
3.2 Preferred Date(s) of Course:
• NSWCDD would like to offer four (4) courses prior to the end of September 2026.
3.3 Preferred Time of Course:
• 0800-1600
3.4 Maximum Number of Participants in the Class:
• Twenty (20)
3.5 Location: Once class dates have been scheduled, the contractor shall provide the training at one of the following locations:
• University of Mary Washington, Dahlgren Campus
• JD’s Conference Center, Dahlgren Virginia
3.6 The Contractor shall provide all training materials in accordance with CDRL A001
3.7 The Contractor shall share any course evaluations with NSWCDD after successfully completing the SysML®101 and SysML®201 training courses.
3.8 The Contractor shall provide each participant with the book, FMS 2015, A Practical Guide to SysML®: The Systems Modeling Language (CDRL A001).
3.9 The Contractor shall provide computers loaded with the course software for participants to complete the training.
3.10 The Contractor shall coordinate with the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) identified below to schedule the courses during the period of performance of the contract.
4.0 GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED PROPERTY/MATERIAL/INFORMATION
(GFP/GFM/GFI)
4.1 The Government will furnish the necessary classroom workspace for the Contractor staff to provide the support outlined in this Statement of Work (SOW).
4.2 The Government will coordinate access to the NSWCDD base if JD’s Conference Center is utilized for the training event.
5.0 TRAVEL
The contractor will be required to travel in the performance of this contract. The number of trips and types of personnel traveling shall be limited to the minimum required to accomplish work requirements and shall be coordinated with the technical point of contact. All travel shall be conducted by the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR). The following travel is anticipated: Two (2) personnel to Dahlgren, Virginia for each course identified throughout the period of performance.
