| Text2: H & K Architects, 5485 Reno Corporate Drive, Suite 100, Reno NV 89511 provided design services for Repair HVAC Systems of Building 56 and building 111 – UCTL16001 and UCTl16002. Construction inspection services, Type C, are now required for the project. By utilizing the Architect and Engineering firms of record to complete the Type C the government will significantly reduce confusion and the overall costs. Firms other than the designers of record will have to spend time trying to interpret the designer’s intent resulting in confusion and potentially additional costs. In addition, in the event of a redesign for Design Errors or Deficiencies – FAR part 36.609.2, the government will save construction costs that would otherwise occur due to work stoppage while addressing correction of errors and omissions. |
